This topic might have a better name.

In-universe takes precedence, and outside of JFSP, this is a pretty uncommon surname. Should perhaps be Finnemore (no dab), with a {{you may}}.

Talk about it here.

Mr Finnemore was an ex-soldier and Henry Mortimer's valet-cum-butler. He was terrified of women and ensured that River Song kept her distance when she became Maddie Mortimer's lady's maid.

Henry described him as the "best sergeant [he] ever had", and placed a great deal of trust in Finnemore. (AUDIO: Friend of the Family)

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

Mr Finnemore is an homage to John Finnemore, who wrote and starred in John Finnemore's Souvenir Programme.

Series 9 of the series, which had an experimental structure, telling one story about a family through non-linear scenes and sketches, including revelations about a lost queer history, was one of the main examples cited in John Dorney's initial pitch, and thus a major inspiration for this box set. (BFX: "The Rules of the House")
