A Closed Session was a private meeting of the ruling Houses.
The most noteworthy one was when the renegade who would become the War King revealed what he had learned about the enemy. The Presidency tried to prevent the meeting but was overruled, and refused to attend. After the Session, the renegade was pardoned of his crimes, and he departed the Homeworld.
