Darren Plant had an uncredited role as the infant John Benton in The Time Monster. (DWM 268)
Darren William Plant was born on 3rd June 1971[source needed]. He died in St Pancras, London, in the September quarter of 1972[source needed]. On the commentary for The Time Monster, John Levene confirmed that Darren had died shortly after his first birthday. This gives him the unfortunate distinction of being the shortest-lived individual to ever have appeared in Doctor Who.
