Boris Karloff was a film actor who was active during the 1930s. He was one of Albert Potter's idols. (AUDIO: Pier Pressure)
In 1938, Monroe Stahr told Seth Rakoff that "for a hundred more," they could've had Karloff play the lead in The Curse of the Scarab instead of Raschid Karnak. (COMIC: The Curse of the Scarab)
In 2163, Peri Brown sarcastically referred to a Roboman as "Boris Karloff". (AUDIO: Masters of Earth)
Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Boris Karloff played Frankenstein's monster in the 1931 Frankenstein film; a clip, featuring Karloff in this role, prominently appeared in the 1996 Doctor Who TV movie, alongside the Eighth Doctor's regeneration.
- Karloff was at one point considered for the part of Dr. Who in the planned 1965 radio plays, but was unavailable at the time.[1]
