Peter Gilmore (25 August 1931-3 February 2013[1]) played Brazen in the Doctor Who television story Frontios.

He was previously considered for the role of Captain Stapley in Time-Flight (TCH 35) and Commander Vorshak in Warriors of the Deep (TCH 38), and later considered for the roles of Orcini in Revelation of the Daleks (TCH 41) and Merdeen in The Mysterious Planet. (TCH 42)

Career Highlights

Gilmore is best known for playing James Onedin in over ninety episodes of The Onedin Line. He is also known for his appearances in eleven "Carry On" films. His other television appearances included roles on Emergency – Ward 10 and The Persuaders!.

Personal Life

He was once married to Una Stubbs.
