Jessica Raine (born 20 May 1982[1]) played Emma Grayling in the Doctor Who television story Hide. She later portrayed original Doctor Who producer Verity Lambert in the 2013 docu-drama, An Adventure in Space and Time.

Career

She is perhaps best known for her role in the BBC drama Call the Midwife, alongside Jenny Agutter and Pam Ferris. Along with the cast of this series, she also appeared in a comedy sketch which featured Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor, broadcast as part of 2013's Comic Relief.

Personal life

She is married to Tom Goodman-Hill, who appeared in The Unicorn and the Wasp.
