The Light were a light-based species from the planet Noumeia in the early days of the universe. While usually incorporeal, they were able to resonate in such a way to appear humanoid and physically interact with people. They lived within Light City.
In the last days of their civilisation, the Light were visited by First Doctor, Barbara Wright, Ian Chesterton and Vicki Pallister. During this time they were led by High Director Tiels and has been at war with Krogor for as long as anyone could remember. (AUDIO: The Dark Planet)
