In 1999, while waiting for the lift down to the platform in the Mornington Crescent underground station, Simon Cooper encountered the Ninth Doctor. The Doctor was running up the stairs, carrying a "large silver metal ball", and left the station in the direction of Camden.

In March 2005, Simon wrote about his encounter on the conspiracy website Doctor Who?. (PROSE: Have You Seen This Man?)
