Calcot was an English village not far from London. It had a village green, a church and a pub of which Kate Drury was landlady.

After Superville Com built a mast near the village, part of the Doomsday Chronometer caused the villagers to receive phone calls from their deceased loved ones. Phillip Cook informed the Eighth Doctor of this and, with Liv Chenka and Helen Sinclair, stopped it by taking the clock to Midge. (AUDIO: Absent Friends)
