Warren is a prolific character actor whose work has included TV series such as Band of Brothers and State of Play, as well as films such as 2006 version of Dracula, in which he played the title role, and an adaptation of the fantasy novel, Hogfather. His best known role of late has been as con artist Danny Blue on the BBC series, Hustle, in which he was starring at the time of his guest appearance in Love & Monsters.
