- Some place this series after Izzy due to them sharing a publisher and style, however as the original plan for COMIC: The Flood would have featured the Eighth Doctor regnerating into the Ninth, some fans have placed it at the endpoint of his life, usually in the "BBC Books continuity" as opposed to the "Big Finish/New Who continuity", where the Eighth Doctor would instead regenerate into the Ninth Doctor in TV: The Night of the Doctor.
