Paul Magrs and his Mam once watched Disney Time on television, on Christmas Eve 1979. (PROSE: Party Like it's 1979)

Behind the scenes

Disney Time was a program that ran in the UK on the BBC during Doctor Who's original run. It featured many guests with Doctor Who connections. Most notably, Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker appeared on the show in 1973 and 1975, both partially or fully in-character as the Third and Fourth Doctors respectively. This allowed for somewhat of a crossover appeal, as the imagery of the Fourth Doctor seeking out Mickey Mouse or the Third Doctor comparing Bessie to Herbie is striking considering how unfamiliar it seems today.

The 1975 Tom Baker appearance was included on a VHS release of Terror of the Zygons.
