The World Security Council was a major committee of the World Government, appointed by the World President to run and control the various defence bodies throughout the Universe. It was comprised of five sections: the World Aquanaut Security Patrol, the World Army-Air Force, the World Space Patrol, the World Navy, and the Universal Secret Service. (PROSE: This is 2065)

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

The World Security Council was addressed by Professor Logan of Jodrell Bank after the Observatory's Omega-Minus Detector Meter picked up evidence that the Omega-Minus device had entered the Solar System and was heading towards Earth at high speed. Logan informed the Security Council of the situation and advised that all bases be alerted until more information about the force behind the device could be gathered. This recommendation was obviously followed as all air and land forces were subsequently put on Emergency Red alert, a fact reported by TV Century 21 on the front page of their 27 March 2065 edition. (PROSE: Earth in Peril!)

The World Security Council gave Troy Tempest and the crew of the Stingray orders to track down and destroy the hostile creatures responsible for the Brazilian jungle crisis of 2065 if their belief that the creatures were using the lake of San Juan as a Headquarters turned out to be true. (PROSE: Jungle Terror!)
