Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
The term "Muggle" in the world of Harry Potter refers to non-magical folk, humans without magical abilities or ancestors, who are kept unaware of the affairs of witches and wizards. Just as Yaz uses the term here, many wizards and witches in Rowling's wizarding world, viewing themselves as inherently superior, use this term disparagingly.
