History

There was various items of pottery on the Elysium before her crash on 17 July 1888. (PROSE: Enthusiastic Amateur Diver Shares His Discoveries With You!) One such item was a tobacco pot, a photograph of which was displayed on the website of the North West Historical Society. (PROSE: The Elysium)

In the 1970s, the Sixth Doctor wanted to learn pottery. (PROSE: Teach Yourself Ballroom Dancing)

In the 2010s, after Daryl Christofi obtained some of the salvage rights to the Elysium and managed to enter the ship after a few unsuccessful dives, he recovered some pottery. He then loaned this pottery to a touring exhibition. (PROSE: Enthusiastic Amateur Diver Shares His Discoveries With You!)
