Wylda was one of the savages who lived on the Reserve.

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

Wylda was captured by the people of the City and, referred to as Number 4708, was taken to the scientists and drained of his vitality beyond the levels deemed acceptable, leading him to be released from the City by Senta.

After the First Doctor, Steven Taylor and Dodo Chaplet found him, the Doctor sent his companions to fetch D403 capsules from the TARDIS to revitalise him. The Doctor took responsibility for Wylda and was taken away by Captain Edal before Steven and Dodo returned and gave Wylda the capsules. He improved almost immediately and kept Chal and the other savages from killing the two of them, referring to them as friends. Later, he warned his people that Exorse was close to their cave.
