Nana Visitor (born 26 July 1957[1]) played Olivia Colasanto in the Torchwood stories Immortal Sins and End of the Road.

She is perhaps best known for her role as Major, later Colonel, Kira Nerys in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine from 1993 to 1999.

She was married to one of her co-stars on that series, Alexander Siddig, from 1997 to 2001 and they had a child during this time. Siddig would later participate in several Big Finish Doctor Who audio stories.
