With the Doctor and Ace lost in the siege of Sebastopol, Hex has rediscovered his calling. But there's cannon to the left of him, cannon to the right of him - and a deranged spycatcher-in-chief on his case.

- This story also included episode 3 'The Gathernaut' of The Three Companions.
- Hex's ultimate fate is not revealed. There is another Seventh Doctor trilogy scheduled for late 2010, but his companion(s) for these stories have yet to be made known.

- This takes place almost immediately after BFA: Enemy of the Daleks.
- The cubby hole for the spare key was seen in DW: Doctor Who (1996).
