William Russell was the Irish war correspondent for the London Times. While covering the Crimean War in October 1854, he told the Seventh Doctor that he was accused of committing treason. He also accused Hex of being a collaborator in wartime. He guarded Hex but was drugged, and Hex escaped. (AUDIO: The Angel of Scutari)
