On 26 November 1476, Vlad the Impaler, otherwise known as Dracula, conquered the region of Wallachia for the third and final time. Reports differed on whether he was a vampire, a rogue Saturnyn or a particularly vicious human. (PROSE: Time Traveller's Diary)
An article of The Herald dated 26 November 1959 reported that King George VI, his wife the Queen, and princesses Elizabeth and Margaret returned from their "triumphant empire tour." They travelled by the HMY Britannia, and arrived at Southampton.
