In 1974, the Arecibo radio telescope (PROSE: Time Traveller's Diary [+]Loading...["Time Traveller's Diary (novel)"]) in Puerto Rico (TV: The Ambassadors of Death [+]Loading...["The Ambassadors of Death (TV story)"]) broadcast a message containing basic information about the human race to the globular star cluster Messier 13. In 1996, the girl band the Blood Honeys had their first concert at Tripod, a nightclub on Harcourt Street in Dublin. Donna Noble had been visiting the city for a hen night at the time, but had been unsuccessful in persuading her friends to leave the club they had been in and visit Tripod. Later, while travelling with the Tenth Doctor, she had him take her to the concert. They discovered that the Doctor was responsible for the power cut which had famously occurred just before the band began singing, and that the Blood Honeys were being manipulated by alien psirens.
