Continuity
- If these story snippets are to be counted in continuity, they need to take place sometime between Arc of Infinity and Mawdryn Undead owing to the TARDIS crew featured. The book does not maintain continuity with the previous release, Doctor Who Quiz Book of Space which had featured the Doctor-Tegan-Turlough lineup.
Later edition
- In July 1985, Severn House issued a hardcover edition of the book for libraries, retitled Doctor Who Book of Science.
