Magus Amathon was a Vortex Dweller and part of the Curia of Nineteen.
He was sent to Lord Roche to stop experiments that would threaten the Curia's Realm. When the Time Lord refused, Amathon sent two Furies to stop him. After that failed, he enlisted the aid of Lady Solenti, showing her secrets of the Realm to convince her to help. For violating their privacy, Amathon was punished by the Curia.
