In the future, finders would read their entry, travel back in time and rescue them. Finders were rescuers, while seekers were time travellers in need of rescue.

The Book of the Still was made from superstring taffeta. It was about a hundred pages long and bound in cracked grey leather with gold leaf words etched into the cover.
