Astronomical data

Raxacoricofallapatorius was said to be located at the edge of the Mutter's Spiral. (PROSE: The Last Dodo) According to Mr Smith, it was located in the Isop Galaxy. (TV: SJAF 4) It was part of a star system that included its twin planet Clom. (TV: Love & Monsters) and neighbouring planets Clix and Raxacoricovarlonpatorius. (TV: The Gift)

The purple atmosphere of Raxacoricofallapatorius could be seen from space. (WC: Monster File: Slitheen)

On one side of the planet, there was a vinegar sea, an ice floe, chalky hills and a tall tree forest. (GAME: Plant and Animal Habitats) There also were at least two oceans on the planet, in which the Raxacoricofallapatorians swam. (WC: Alien File: Blathereen)

Inhabitants

Native plants of Raxacoricofallapatorius included the Poppito tree, (PROSE: The Monsters Inside) the Bartleboigle tree, (TV: The Lost Boy) and Rakweed. (TV: The Gift) Native animals included the now-extinct baaraddelskelliumfatrexius beasts (TV: Revenge of the Slitheen) and the Raxacoricofallapatorians, who, socially, are divided into different families by skin colour, such as the green Slitheen (TV: World War Three) and the orange/brown Blathereen. (PROSE: The Monsters Inside) The Museum of the Last Ones had specimens of extinct species from Raxacoricofallapatorius. (PROSE: The Last Dodo)

Raxacoricofallapatorius was the centre of the four worlds of the Raxas Alliance. (TV: The Gift) The governing bodies were the Grand Council and the Assembly, (TV: Revenge of the Slitheen) with the former led by the Lord Predator. (PROSE: The Slitheen Excursion)

The Blathereen had large eyes so that they were capable of improved vision in the blizzards of Raxacoricofallapatorius. Furthermore, they used their powerful arms to swim in the oceans of the planet. (WC: Alien File: Blathereen)

History

Raxacoricofallapatorius were part of the four-world Raxas Alliance along with Clom, Clix and Raxacoricovarlonpatorius. (TV: The Gift)

Sometime before the 21st century the criminal Slitheen family bribed their way into power on Raxacoricofallapatorius. Their rule crashed the planet's economy and eventually the population rose up against them. (TV: The Gift) Exposed, shamed, and arrested, the entire family was tried and found guilty with no chance of appeal and given the death sentence. Many of the Slitheen fled justice, but the family continued to be hunted down by the Blathereen family and Judoon. (TV: Revenge of the Slitheen)

Branded as criminals, and fleeing Raxacoricofallapatorius on pain of capital punishment; (TV: Boom Town) the Slitheen engaged in a variety of illegal schemes across the galaxy, including on Earth, where they came across the Doctor (TV: Aliens of London, World War Three, etc.) and Sarah Jane Smith. (TV: Revenge of the Slitheen, From Raxacoricofallapatorius with Love) The actions of the Slitheen "ruined the good name" of the Raxacoricofallapatorians. (TV: Revenge of the Slitheen)

In the year 34,600, the Lord Predator of Raxacoricofallapatorius was Haralto Wong Bopz Wim-Waldon Arlene. However he died shortly after this. (PROSE: The Slitheen Excursion)

Alternate timeline

In an alternate timeline in which the Cybermen conquered the Borg, Raxacoricofallapatorius was among the many worlds the Cybermen conquered, the natives all cyber-converted. (COMIC: Assimilation²)
