The Salonu were a set of robotic praying mantises. They were a telepathic race.
They were employed by the Decayed Master to steal gold and kidnap Leela. (AUDIO: The Evil One)
They came to Earth in 6th century BC to refuel, where their ship was shot down by Cuthbert. (AUDIO: The Pursuit of History)
