Mat Irvine (born 7 July 1948[1]) was the visual effects designer for the Doctor Who television stories The Face of Evil, The Stones of Blood, The Creature from the Pit, Warriors' Gate, Warriors of the Deep and the K9 and Company television story A Girl's Best Friend. He was also an uncredited visual effects assistant on The Curse of Peladon (INFO: The Curse of Peladon), Death to the Daleks (INFO: Death to the Daleks), Planet of the Spiders (INFO: Planet of the Spiders), Pyramids of Mars (INFO: Pyramids of Mars) and The Invisible Enemy. (TCH 27) He was the uncredited double for actor Vincent Pickering when Pickering's character Sagan was electrocuted in Warriors' Gate. (DWM 315)
