Baspral was the home planet of the Basprali. The Doctor visited Baspral several times, once to see the Gardens of Baspral. On one visit to Baspral, the Doctor prevented a seer from drowning a young boy. The boy grew up to be a ruthless dictator, responsible for the Great Cleansing in which millions of people died.
