Baspral was the home planet of the Basprali. The Doctor visited Baspral several times, once to see the Gardens of Baspral. On one visit to Baspral, the Doctor prevented a seer from drowning a young boy. The boy grew up to be a ruthless dictator, responsible for the Great Cleansing in which millions of people died. The Doctor later visited Baspral in his sixth incarnation, during which time he underwent interrogation by the Inquisitor regarding his previous actions on the planet.
