Mars Ship Hi-Jacked was a short story printed in TV Century 21 that contained elements from the Doctor Who universe. Characters[[edit] | [edit source]]
Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Mutiny struck Zero X as it trundled across the Glenn Field tarmac. During the countdown procedure all seemed calm but shortly before take-off Colonel Jennings, the spacecraft's new commander, was overpowered and bundled from the ship, with the neutronic engines immediately bursting into life.
- It is believed that Captain Travers, sentenced to death a week prior for breach of discipline, was responsible for the hijacking but officials are unsure if the rest of the crew were forced to obey Travers' orders or whether they joined him freely.
- The World Space Patrol has been alerted to stop and arrest Zero X on sight.
- Steve Zodiac is "probably the best known" of all W.S.P. astronauts.
- Steve came to fame in 2059 when it was announced that he would pilot the new XL patrol ship. While still a young man, he was able to overcome the disadvantages of being the son of a famous father, Air Marshal Zodiac, with his "dashing ability" forming his own reputation.
Story notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- This story is another crossover with Zero X and Fireball XL5.
Continuity[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Space City has announced that their ace astronaut Steve Zodiac is missing and believed killed while on normal patrol on the Astran-Solar Space border. (COMIC: The Shrink Ray)
