The TARDIS lands in the city of Peorek, on the planet Ninsul, which seems dirty, scrappy and messy. Clara asks the Eleventh Doctor what is there, but he thinks that there is something interesting everywhere, although it is rather quiet. Behind a building, a giant claw grabs Clara. Soon it picks the Doctor up. A weird, humanoid alien with yellow eyes, who is also bald is at the controls, asking them to assess the newcomers. This man mentions they have impressive technical abilities. The men who were speaking to him turn up to be in his species too, wearing black instead of red. They say that they will use the duo, and that the project is almost complete. The other side will be theirs.
Only the Elite know what is being built in the city of Peorek on the planet Ninsul but whatever it is, is it a real threat to the people of Sokkar?

The claws that had Clara and the Doctor go inside the building, and drop them. Clara goes to one of the aliens at the control, saying it to be some sort of production line, but she is interested in what they are making. The man says that no one knows, other than The Elite, and that they were not allowed to ask, they only have to do their jobs. The only information they have, is that it has something to do with Sokkar. Sokkar is the city on the opposite side of Ninsul, and they should have gone there instead. The forced Elite say that they don't want to work, but if they leave, they will be picked up by the claw and would be put back to work. Clara wonders if they should find out what it is, but the Doctor is one step ahead of her. He has hacked their systems and got the complete plan. They are working on its brain. Clara doesn't seem to like the look of that, and wonders if they should stop it.

Line of Battle was a Doctor Who Adventures comic strip published in 2013.

Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]

Only the Elite know what is being built in the city of Peorek on the planet Ninsul but whatever it is, is it a real threat to the people of Sokkar?

Plot[[edit] | [edit source]]

The next day, the Elite are standing on some sort of platform, saying it is ready. They command it to open the doors, and the Wardroid steps through. They command it to go to Sokkar and destroy it. The Wardroid looks down, and questions them. The rips up the platform, and runs off with them. The Doctor says that all he did was "a simple bit of core reprogramming, and hey presto — a Wardroid with no interest in war". Clara wonders where it will take them, and the Doctor says that he programmed it to take them to a deserted island, and if they try to swim off, it'll pick them up and put them back.
