The Fairest of Them All was a Doctor Who Adventures comic strip published in 2012 featuring the Eleventh Doctor, Amy Pond and Rory Williams.

Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]

The Doctor takes Amy Pond and Rory Williams to witness a meteor shower from a hill above a ghost town on Earth in 1908. From one fallen meteorite emerges a "glamorous", female, bear-like creature blinded by her own beauty. She finds it too hot and plans to ship down a continent-sized air-con convoy, cooling the place so it will be ideal for a dressing room.

Appalled by the creature's vanity, Rory and the Doctor take large mirrors and tilt them to reflect the sun. The creature is warmed up. As her make-up runs in the heat, she panics. Overcome by her sudden "ugliness" she runs sobbing back to her ship and leaves.
