Toby Whithouse (born 5 July 1970[1]) wrote several episodes of Doctor Who during the David Tennant, Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi eras, and the Torchwood series 1 episode Greeks Bearing Gifts. In 2017, he played a German soldier in the Doctor Who Christmas special Twice Upon a Time. He has also made several appearances on Doctor Who Confidential.
He was interviewed in issue 485 of Doctor Who Magazine for the revival series' tenth anniversary. He commented that he never believed that the show would return to TV.
His stories often involve characters facing situations with difficult choices that will have lasting consequences.
