Kelly Hale wrote the Faction Paradox novel Erasing Sherlock and co-wrote the BBC Eighth Doctor Adventures novel Grimm Reality (with Simon Bucher-Jones). She was one of the contributors to The Book of the War. Hale has written short stories for Short Trips, Faction Paradox, Iris Wildthyme, Bernice Summerfield, and The City of the Saved.
She also contributed an essay to the reference book Chicks Unravel Time: Women Journey Through Every Season of Doctor Who.
