You may be looking for Argus Possiter.

The Argus was a marine biology research ship which plied the oceans of the planet Kyrol. Though not a hospital to most sentient life forms, it was so for Izzy Sinclair. The Eighth Doctor brought her to the facility soon after she had unwillingly swapped bodies with Destrii. Dr Alison Lavelle attended Izzy personally, creating detailed notes about Izzy's new biology.

The Argus comes under attack. (COMIC: Children of the Revolution)

The Argus was captained by Julius Otago. It was damaged near the Asmada Ridge. Its hull was breached, and the flaw in using low-cost ecotronic fission reactors for power was made apparent. The reactors nearly took down the ship and all its crew, but for the mysterious intervention of Daleks. In reversing the overheating reactors, the Daleks of Kyrol proved themselves an entirely new kind of Dalek. They brought the vessel back to their secret city within the Asmada Ridge, where they made every passenger disembark. Shortly after, the vessel was destroyed by the Daleks to prevent any of the crew from returning to the outside world and compromising the secrecy of their city. (COMIC: Children of the Revolution)
