The Grey Lady was an android replica of a ghost with the same name.

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

Along with Dracula and Frankenstein's monster, the Grey Lady was part of an attraction at the Festival of Ghana in 1996. She taunted an already frightened Barbara Wright by screaming out unintelligibly, in anguish and torment, from a balcony in the haunted house. (TV: The Chase)

Microsoft created the androids, and later faced inquiries about their dangerous behaviour. (PROSE: Interference - Book One)

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • The Grey Lady appears only briefly in "Journey into Terror", and contributes little to the on-screen action aside from some unintelligible anguished and tormented screaming. She is omitted entirely from John Peel's novelisation of The Chase.
