Thorir was a human inhabitant of the colony planet Lindis, who was kidnapped by Odin and made to believe he was a Viking Lord. Under Odin's instruction, Thorir led parties of "Vikings" to raid nearby villages, kidnapping colonists and recruiting them for a performance of the opera Ultragrossegotterdamerung.

When the Tenth Doctor and Bjorn attempted to reverse Odin's conversion of the colonists, Odin commanded Thorir to attack the Doctor with an axe. Thorir swung and missed, smashing Valhalla's computers and accidentally destroying Odin. (COMIC: Space Vikings!)
