Gryffen lost the stabiliser when the CCPCs took Gryffen away from the pods and demanded to know what was in them. Gryffen found the stabiliser when K9 distracted the CCPCs by making animal noises but was chased by them. When he escaped from an attacking Korven, the CCPCs ran into it. They barged into Gryffen Manor, originally a police station where Pike was based and Darius had spent most of his childhood, and restrained K9, Gryffen and the youngsters. They infected the CCPC Chief, nicknamed "[[Green Hand]]" with a biological computer virus to target his organic and cybernetic components. He passed it on to his troops and they became the puppets of The Last Precinct. They made the CCPC do their bidding, proving they were useless. This would convince The Department to replace them with the human police officers of the past. However the CCPCs' immune systems kicked in and they became individuals with thoughts and feelings of their own. The CCPC's new objective to subjugate humanity once the [[Korven]] arrived was reverted prematurely. K9 used a piece of alien derived from the [[Space-Time Manipulator]] to create a vaccine and immunise the CCPC from the computer virus, returning them to normal. When the Aeolian's mating call caused storms across the United Kingdom, Drake found the Aeolian in the Holy Cross Cathedral and went there with four CCPCs. He had the CCPCs stun the Aeolian. He ordered them to take her out, but when K9 threatened to kill them, he ordered them to stand down. When Thorne and Gryffen travelled to the site of the crashed Korven ship to find the temporal stabiliser, they were accompanied by two CCPCs. Gryffen lost the stabiliser when the CCPCs took Gryffen away from the pods and demanded to know what was in them. Gryffen found the stabiliser when K9 distracted the CCPCs by making animal noises but was chased by them. When he escaped from an attacking Korven, the CCPCs ran into it. The Korven fired at them and they fled. A CCPC later reported to Thorne that Gryffen was gone and Starkey had the stabiliser. (TV: Angel of the North [+]Loading...["Angel of the North (TV story)"])

The Last Precinct, a vigilante group of former police officers who had lost their jobs, used the Department's plan to upgrade CCPC officers with extraterrestrial biotechnology against them. The ringleader, Darius' estranged father, Sgt. Harry Pike, with his second-in-command, an ex-forensic scientist, kidnapped the CCPCs and experimented on them. They barged into Gryffen Manor, formerly a police station where Pike had been based and Darius had spent most of his childhood, and restrained K9, Gryffen and the youngsters. They infected the CCPC Chief, nicknamed "Green Hand" with a biological computer virus to target his organic and cybernetic components. He passed it on to his troops and they became the puppets of The Last Precinct. They made the CCPC do their bidding, proving them useless. This convinced the Department to replace them with the human police officers of the past. However, the CCPCs' immune systems kicked in and they became individuals with thoughts and feelings of their own. The CCPCs' new objective to subjugate humanity once the Korven arrived was reverted prematurely. K9 used a piece of alien derived from the Space-Time Manipulator to create a vaccine and immunise the CCPC from the computer virus, returning them to normal. The CCPC later helped Thorne's plot to destroy both K9 and Jixey the Jixen so Jixey wouldn't reveal the truth. (TV: Hound of the Korven [+]Loading...["Hound of the Korven (TV story)"])
