Cyber was slang for cybernetic lifeforms such as CCPCs, referred to as such by Harry Pike, (TV: The Last Precinct) and the Cybermen, referred to once by the Tenth Doctor. (TV: Rise of the Cybermen)

Collectively known as the Cyber-race, (TV: Earthshock) the Cybermen were organised into Cyber-Armies (TV: Revenge of the Cybermen) of the Cyber-Force, (TV: Silver Nemesis) also known as the Cyber-Empire. (COMIC: The Bidding War) The Cyberiad, or cyber-network, (TV: Rise of the Cybermen) was the shared consciousnesses of the Cybermen. (TV: Nightmare in Silver)

CyberMondan was the term used by the Cybermen to refer to the Mondasians who did not fully embrace cyber-conversion like the Faction did. As such, they were the earliest form of Cybermen. (PROSE: Iceberg)

Mondas was the Cyber-planet. (TV: Attack of the Cybermen) Cyber-Control was the influence of the Cybermen. (TV: Death in Heaven) and bases on Telos (TV: Attack of the Cybermen) and Pete's World. (TV: The Age of Steel)

Cybermen were typically led by Cyber-Leaders (TV: Earthshock et al.) and Cyber-Lords, (GAME: Blood of the Cybermen) who were themselves subordinate to by Cyber-Controllers, (TV: Attack of the Cybermen) formerly the Cyber Co-ordinator, (PROSE: Iceberg) and Cyber-Planners, (GAME: The Eternity Clock) also known as Cyber Modules. (TV: The Invasion) The Cyber-Emperor was the leader of the Cybermen in the 82nd century. (COMIC: Kane's Story, Frobisher's Story) Allying with the Cybermen, Rassilon briefly became Cyber-President. (COMIC: Supremacy of the Cybermen) Cyber-Master was a title claimed by the War Master whilst masquerading as a converted Cyberman, superior to the Cyber-Controller. (AUDIO: Master of Worlds)

Cyber-Command, consisting of the Cyber-Controller and the Cyber-Leader, was based on New Mondas. (COMIC: Cyber Crisis)

The Cyber-God, or Cyber Deity, was a fictional Cyberman god. (COMIC: Conversion)

Immediate subordinates to Cyber-Leaders were Cyber-Lieutenants, (TV: Earthshock) Cyber Deputys (PROSE: Earthshock) and Junior Cyber-Leaders. (COMIC: Throwback: The Soul of a Cyberman) Cyber-Commanders existed on Mondas. (AUDIO: Spare Parts, The Reaping) CyberKings were a Dreadnought-class ships whose pilot was integrated into it, making it the CyberKing. (TV: The Next Doctor)

Specialised Cybermen included Cyberguards, (PROSE: Doctor Who and the Tenth Planet) Cyber-Scouts (TV: Attack of the Cybermen) and Cyber-engineers. (PROSE: Made of Steel)

Individual Cybermen were known as Cyber-Units (TV: Doomsday) or Cyber-Warriors. (COMIC: Supremacy of the Cybermen)

Cyber-conversion, also known as Cybernisation, (PROSE: Attack of the Cybermen) was the process in which other lifeforms were transformed into Cybermen. (AUDIO: Real Time) Mondasian Cybermen used Cyberfication machines, (COMIC: The Ugly Underneath) while those from Pete's World were known to use Cyber-conversion units. (TV: Cyberwoman) Cyber-pollen could be used to facilitate cyber-conversion. (TV: Death in Heaven) Bases of cyber-conversion were Cyber Foundries (TV: The Doctor Falls) and Cyber-factories. (TV: The Age of Steel)

Cybermats were small cyborgs created by the Cybermen. (TV: The Tomb of the Cybermen) Later, the Cybermen used cybermites. (TV: Nightmare in Silver)

Humans infected by Cybermat nanoforms became Cyberslaves. (GAME: Blood of the Cybermen) Other partially converted humans were known as Cyber-drones. (COMIC: Enemy Mine)

Cyber-Silurian was the name given by the Eleventh Doctor, among the alternatives "Cyberlurian", "Cybersilon", and "Cyber-Reptilia", to a variant of Cybermen that were created through the cyber-conversion of Silurians. They utilised converted Cyber-Arks. (COMIC: Supremacy of the Cybermen)

Cybershades were converted from cats and dogs. (WC: Monster File: Cybermen, TV: The Next Doctor) Dogs were also converted into Cyber Wolves (COMIC: Enemy Mine, PROSE: Plague of the Cybermen) Cybermice were converted from mice. (COMIC: Untitled)

Functioning through the Cyber-operating system, (TV: Nightmare in Silver) the body of a Cyberman was known as a Cyber-body (PROSE: Doctor Who and the Tenth Planet) or Cyber-suit, (AUDIO: Real Time, TV: The Age of Steel) or cyber-form. (TV: Closing Time) The Sixth Doctor referred to the heads of these suits as the Cyber-helmet, (AUDIO: The Carrionite Curse) alternately known as Cyber-heads. (TV: Attack of the Cybermen) The Eleventh Doctor dubbed the severed arm of a Cyberman as a "Cyber-arm". (TV: The Pandorica Opens) Cyber-filament connected human brains to earpieces. (PROSE: Made of Steel)

The Tenth Doctor noted that Mercy Hartigan, even after being converted into the CyberKing, did not have a "Cyber speech pattern", indicating that she still had free will. The Doctor then used infostamps to break her cyber-connection. (TV: The Next Doctor)

Cybermen travelled in Cyber-ships, (TV: The Pandorica Opens) Cyber-spaceships, (TV: The Invasion) Cybercraft, (PROSE: Doctor Who and the Tenth Planet) or Cyber-Warships (TV: Silver Nemesis) which were organised into Cyber Legions (TV: A Good Man Goes to War) Cyber-Fleets, (TV: Silver Nemesis) or Cyber-Armadas, (COMIC: Assimilation²) led by Cyber-Flagships. (COMIC: The Bidding War) Cyber-Warships carried Cyber-shuttles. (TV: Silver Nemesis) Prisoners were accomodated in Cyberchairs. (PROSE: Doctor Who and the Tenth Planet) Other vehicles included Cyber-Moles. (COMIC: Cyber-Mole)

Cybermen believed their technology, Cyber-Technology, to be supreme. (AUDIO: Code Silver) Mondas' propulsion unit was an example of cyber-engineering. (TV: Attack of the Cybermen) For communication, a Cyber-Communications Unit was used. (PROSE: The Wheel in Space)

Weapons used by the Cybermen were known as Cyber-weapons. (PROSE: Doctor Who and the Cybermen) They included Cyber-guns, (TV: The Tomb of the Cybermen) Cyber-cannons, (PROSE: Doctor Who and the Cybermen) and Cyber-bombs, (PROSE: The Empire of Glass) including Cyber-megatron bombs. (TV: The Invasion)

The micromonolithic circuit, also known as a Cyber-transmitter unit, was an electronic component created on late 20th century Earth by International Electromatics. It emitted a hypnotic telepathic signal intended to bring humanity under Cyber-Control, alternately referred to as a Cyber-transmission, Cyber-hypnotic force, Cyber-control beam, Cyber-control wave, Cyber-control signal or simply Cyber-signal. Cyber-statues were what Amy Pond called the statues created by the Cybermen to lure humans for conversion in Medieval England. (GAME: The Mazes of Time)

Owen Harper and Jack Harkness referred to the late Lisa Hallett, who had been partially converted at Canary Wharf, as Ianto Jones' "cyber-girlfriend". (TV: Captain Jack Harkness, End of Days)

The Eleventh Doctor dubbed the converted Webley as "Cyber Webley". (TV: Nightmare in Silver)

While dealing with Handles, the Eleventh Doctor quipped "those Cyber-evenings must fly". (TV: The Time of the Doctor)

Cyberman invasions were known as Cyber-invasions. (TV: The Invasion) The Cybermen were fought in the Cyber-Wars. (TV: Nightmare in Silver) During the Battle of Canary Wharf, Dalek Thay deemed the "Cyber threat" irrelevant. (TV: Doomsday)

The Cyberlords were a later stage of Cybermen who had become peaceful, organised as the Cyberlord Hegemony. (PROSE: The Crystal Bucephalus, Synthespians™)

The "Cyberverse", as Reece Goddard called it, was an alternate timeline in which the Cybermen became a dominant force in the universe. (WC: Real Time/AUDIO: Real Time)
