The Doctor instructs Kate to analyse "Every single pixel" of the VHS image, VHS as an analogue format has a fixed number of (horizontal) lines, but I think the effective number of vertical lines that could be shown depended on the quality of the equipment used to record it? All the descriptions I can find of horizontal resolution seem to be "approximate" until the laserdisk/DVD era where the recording is a bit more digital. Is it right to be talking about pixels for an analogue format like this? This seems like the sort of things the Doctor would know given that he happily hacks together equipment from vastly different eras on a regular basis. --NonUniqueName ☎ 21:55, 15 June 2024 (UTC) |

Potential script error?edit source
--NonUniqueName ☎ 21:55, 15 June 2024 (UTC)
