A church was located on Ruby Road in Manchester.

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

On Christmas Eve 2004, a stranger came to the church on Ruby Road, carrying a new-born girl. Just before midnight, she left the child on the steps of the church. As the stranger left the church, Goblins attempted to steal the baby to eat her, in revenge for an older version of her and the Fifteenth Doctor thwarting their plans to eat Lulubelle in 2023.

However, the Doctor, using his intelligent gloves, pulled the Goblin ship into the church, impaling the Goblin King with the church's spire. As a result, the ship dematerialised, leaving the baby behind. The Doctor put her back on the steps and left just before the clock struck midnight. The child was then taken in (TV: The Church on Ruby Road [+]Loading...["The Church on Ruby Road (TV story)"]) by the vicar, (PROSE: The Church on Ruby Road [+]Loading...["The Church on Ruby Road (novelisation)"]) and eventually adopted by Carla Sunday, who named the baby "Ruby" after the road she was found on.
