Does Dalek Caan have the most confirmed onscreen appearances of any individual Dalek? He has appeared in six episodes. (I say confirmed because some might argue that various Daleks seen through the series have been the same one, for example you could say that the first Dalek created by Davros became the Emperor, and would therefore have arguably appeared in 14 episodes (the seven episodes of The Evil of the Daleks, the six episodes of Genesis of the Daleks, and The Parting of the Ways)).--The Traveller 13:32, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

I've always thought this refered to Rose: she came back to the original universe, but is forced to return to "Pete's World", thus enternal death (as she told of how she 'died' in Army of Ghosts/Doomsday).

Shouldn't this article be part of Cult of Skaro? The evil dudeArnie 15:12, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

I think the idea is that Caan will reappear as a character in the Fourth (or future series) and therefore merits his own article. --Tangerineduel 15:18, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
I thought Caan was destined to be the Dalek that wound up in Utah. --207.215.78.126 06:49, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
That's one theory, but it hasn't been officially confirmed. ~ Ghelæ -talk-contribs 15:41, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
If it is though than surely he would have announced his title as Dalek Caan, who wouldn't be proud of being a cult of skaro member? Bluesilver 09:50, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
But it was a secret order. That would be like me posting on a wikia that I'm a member of the secret cabal that runs the world through our manipulation of the global bacon industry.
Perhaps I've said too much. Monkey with a Gun 18:52, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Tenseedit source

Shouldn't this be in the article be in the present tense since Caan is still alive for the time being?70.59.200.105 08:29, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

The Manual of Style indicates to put things in the past tense. Monkey with a Gun 18:52, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Most appearances?edit source

Does Dalek Caan have the most confirmed onscreen appearances of any individual Dalek? He has appeared in six episodes. (I say confirmed because some might argue that various Daleks seen through the series have been the same one, for example you could say that the first Dalek created by Davros became the Emperor, and would therefore have arguably appeared in 14 episodes (the seven episodes of The Evil of the Daleks, the six episodes of Genesis of the Daleks, and The Parting of the Ways)).--The Traveller 13:32, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

"Everlasting death to the most faithful companion"edit source

I've always thought this refered to Rose: she came back to the original universe, but is forced to return to "Pete's World", thus enternal death (as she told of how she 'died' in Army of Ghosts/Doomsday). 90.196.9.46 15:50, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

It could also refer to Jack, with his endless deaths. Monkey with a Gun 06:50, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

The Most Faithfull Companionedit source

I had always assumed that it was Dalek Caan himself - not Donna - that was the most faithfull companion. After all, who was it that brought the Doctor and some of his closest friends together? Caan! Who was it that gatherd the Daleks into one place? Caan! Who was it that manipulated events so that The Doctor could become a threefold man? Caan! And ofcourse, Caan died in the end.

Speachedit source

Am I the only one who is wondering how Dalek Caan is still speaking after the destruction of his dome? on the kaled mutant page and the dalek page it states that the mutant is incapable of its own speach, and tht the speakers are on the dome, respectivly, so if his dome is gone, how is he still speaking?87.177.1.236 09:43, August 20, 2010 (UTC)

Presumably Davros hooked the casing's remains up to a speaker system so that he could listen to his knowledge of future events. Quetzatoul 18:33, November 27, 2010 (UTC)
