"Crush the lesser races. Conquer the galaxy. Unimaginable power. Unlimited rice pudding!"The Seventh Doctor, Remembrance of the Daleks
Hello I’m gingerfool. I've been "working" at the TARDIS Wiki since 2021, but I have used it as a resource for many years previously. I'm from Yorkshire, and love to settle down with a good old DVD, a hot choccie, and biscuits. Although I prefer the classic series, I still love the new series very much, with the Big Finish audios also getting some love when I have the time.
My edits are mainly in categories, adding new ones and touching up others, although you'll also spot me making small edits here and there to other pages. I don't tend to make new ones, partially because most have been created, and also because I'm a bit rubbish using the editor. (I nicked these templates from someone else!)
My favourite story is Remembrance of the Daleks, partly due to it being the first Classic Who story I watched, and also because it's so bloomin' awesome! As a result, I love everything to do with it, from the soundtrack by Keff McCulloch, to the Special Weapons Dalek, and everything in between!

My Love for Doctor Who

"Bingle-bongle, dingle-dangle, yickety-do yickitey-dah, ping-pong, lippy-tappy, too-tah."David Tennant
I saw my first Doctor Who episode in 2005 when the BBC was airing the first series of 'NuWho', and have since watched each subsequent episode on its airdate. I have also dipped my toe into the Classic Series DVD range, and now own over 150! I have also made my own DVDs for the Loose Cannon Productions' reconstructions, which work, but are a bit rubbish. I hope that one day I'll own all home media releases of Doctor Who, but that's a big ask of future-me. I've watched most of Classic Who now, but have yet to get to the animations, which are my last priority, due to their [price. I've also started listening to Big Finish Productions's audio dramas on my daily commute, and have listened to a fair bit of Short Trips, The Third Doctor Adventures, and The Fourth Doctor Adventures, as well as other series like I, Davros and UNIT.

A last bit about me
I'm a big collector of Doctor Who Media, having collected many DVDs and a few VHS tapes, as well as a large collection of Who-Related music. I have also written a paper on Doctor Who, titled "To what extent can Doctor Who be seen as a socio-political commentary during its Classic Era (1963-1989)?" - if it ever gets published online, I might add a link here.

Sid 'Gingerfool' Rat was a 21st century historian, whovian, and editor of Tardis Wiki.
In N-Space, Sid Rat was born some time around the year 2000, although it was unknown how close this approximation was. They assumedly attended school, where they found a love for both History and Doctor Who, watching both the New and Old series at Lunchtime.
Sid Rat later rose to noteriety for their love of Doctor Who, writing on many online forums and sites, completing online quizzes, and even writing a research paper on the link between Doctor Who and Politics.
After most of the excitement of discovering Doctor Who related facts and media died down for Sid, they then turned their attention to the archivisation of facts, knowledge, and media relating to the Whoniverse so that it may be preserved for others to see and experience themselves. This included the (re)discovery of the earlier Loose Cannon Productions' Reconstructions online and as VHS transfers, so that people could compare them to later attempts, as well as saving fanmade music albums from deletion and predatory third-party monetisation.
By one account, Sid Rat was a Scorchie, sent to Earth in the 1970s as part of the attempted Scorchie invasion, but didn't have their physical form destroyed by the Doctor's reversed signal due to being rented out to a Punch and Judy show at Robin Hood's Bay at the time of activation.
- In one life, Sid was a model for Vincent van Gogh, but the artwork was destroyed by van Gogh due to his dissatisfaction with the choice of pigments.
- Records show that in a different incarnation, Sid Rat may not have been ginger at all, and was actually a gargoyle-esque statuette that was placed on Notre Dame in 1427, after being rejected from becoming a Garden Gnome for a Parisian noble.
During their time as a Scorchie, Sid accidentally stole a real baby, instead of Punch and Judy's. This resulted in multiple parental complaints as the child was almost eaten by the Crocodile, but was saved at the last moment. This caused Sid to be fired, and had to live off of baked bean sandwiches whilst living under the stairs of Sean Lock for nearly two years, before joining a travelling circus, in which he himself was promptly eaten by a hungry lioness.
- As a Scorchie, Sid embodied a rat puppet. It is not known what form the Scorchie Sid took, only that they kept the surname 'Rat' whilst embodying a puppet.
- The nickname 'Gingerfool' stemmed from the colour of Sid's hair. While some sources claim that Sid is infact ginger, this can be almost always attributed to lighting and colour correction errors, rather than Sid's actual hair colour.
