Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia was an area in Canada in mainland North America, named for what the Tenth Doctor called "Old Scotia". It was discovered by Eric the Red, who initially named it Eric the Red-land. In 1002, the First Doctor, Barbara, Susan and Ian sailed with Eric the Red sailed from Greenland to Newfoundland and then to what would later become Nova Scotia. They arrived in an area Ian recognised would later become the town of Pugwash. Three hours walk from Pugwash was the Bay of Fundy. (PROSE: Who Discovered America?
