Eva Hitler (née Braun) was the wife of Adolf Hitler. According to the Sixth Doctor, she was the best kept secret of the Third Reich.

Eva Braun was the longtime girlfriend of Adolf Hitler. Allied intelligence believed she was merely a secretary.
She was resident in the Führerbunker in 1945, with her arrival on 15 April signalling the end to most of Hitler's advisers. Despite Hitler's insistence, she refused to leave him. She also refused offers of help from Albert Speer. It was because of this that she was nicknamed the "Angel of Death" behind her back.
Just after midnight on 29 April, Braun married Hitler in a hurried civil ceremony. She signed her name as "Eva B" before scratching out the B and writing "Eva Hitler".
When her husband committed suicide, Braun did not and was smuggled out of Berlin. Martin Bormann killed Claire Aldwych and burnt her corpse to pose as Braun's. The pregnant Braun gave birth to a son, named Adolf Hitler, Jr. after his father.
