Muskets were a type of firearm. They were used during the English Civil War, (TV: The Time Monster) the Battle of Culloden in Scotland, (TV: The Highlanders) the Reign of Terror in France (TV: The Reign of Terror) and the Crimean War. (AUDIO: The Angel of Scutari)

People killed by musket fire included Arthur Kemp in 1644 (PROSE: The Roundheads) and Serena in 1805. (PROSE: World Game) Hex was shot with a musket fired at him by Bartholomew Kitchen, but survived. (AUDIO: The Angel of Scutari)
