Milo was a pupil at Deffry Vale High School.

Milo went to Deffry Vale High School during the 2000s. In 2007, the Krillitanes led by Lassar began infiltrating the high school.
When the Tenth Doctor arrived as his new physics teacher, he noticed that Milo had a knowledge "beyond planet Earth" after giving him a complex pop quiz. Like almost every pupil at the high school, Milo ate the chips provided as part of the compulsory school dinners, and therefore was affected by the Krillitane oil.
