Abena was a Ghanaian student at the LSE in London. The daughter of the CEO of a petrochemicals firm, she came to London to study politics and philosophy. Her life was supported by an open cheque book from her father, allowing her to afford a nice flat, nice car, and nice meals. Abena was a very positive woman who was dedicated to doing good in the world.
Three months before early March 2005, Abena's affluence drew the attention of petty criminal Jimmy Stone. He romanced her and moved into her flat in Catford. Privately, Jimmy couldn't stand Abena, being solely interested in spending her money, and eventually he got bored.
On the evening of 5 March, Abena attended a wedding in Henley, leaving Jimmy at home as he had pretended to have food poisoning. Having decided he was done with the relationship, Jimmy decided to teach Abena a lesson to "always look after Number One" by robbing her, as he felt she deserved it. He loaded himself up with expensive jewellery: six pairs of gold earrings, a gold bracelet, a platinum bracelet, and Abena's £25,000 Duomètre Chronographe watch. However, after leaving Abena's flat, Jimmy was killed by the Autons attacking London, technically dying a very rich man. (PROSE: Rose [+]Loading...["Rose (novelisation)"])
