Aldgate was a tube station located on the Circle line. It was also located on another line, depicted in rose pink, on a map of the London Underground network. On the Circle line, Aldgate was located between Liverpool Street and Tower Hill. On the pink line, it acted as a terminus located south of Liverpool Street, though the line branched off eastwards between the two stations. It was located north of the River Thames.
