The area just next to an entrance to the Green Park tube station was where the Twelfth Doctor and Clara Oswald encountered agents of the British government attempting to burn a pathway through a forest that had mysteriously arisen overnight. In witnessing the failed attempt, the duo came to realise that the new trees were fire resistant. (TV: In the Forest of the Night)

Although the episode does not explicitly make the link, the station, in real life, serves and is named after Green Park, a real park in London.
