A crewman was a crew member on the Empress, serving under Captain Rigg.
After the Empress crashed into the Hecate, he and another crewman went to investigate the damage. He reported to Rigg that they couldn't get to some of the passenger sections.
He was later informing a passenger of the situation when he was attacked and killed by a Mandrel. (TV: Nightmare of Eden)
